It really depends on your dog. Some corgis will only eat when hungry and given treats and human food. Some want to try to eat and lick stuff out of curiosity. It really depends. As long as he's not eating metal shards, glass, or poison, he should be ok. I know eating worms and bugs are disgusting but should not pose as much threat as chemicals or glass.

A lot of dogs like to eat poop. Now, that is a bit more disturbing but they eat it because they are lackign something in their diet. Don't worry!
