Another story is Davey. He was rescued up near Blacksburg, VA from a collector and had spent most of his young life in a crate. The rescuer who was working with animal control to get this lady's number of animals down brought us in for Davey. Very sweet tri boy, just about a year old with lots of energy. He was emaciated and we worked on getting his weight up and getting him strong enough to get him ready to neuter. He sailed through his medical work and went to a home in the Tidewater area of VA and now known as Max. He now has a four legged sister with which to play and expend his puppy energy. My last photo of him was curled up on a plush bed at the hearth, contentedly snoozing away.
Some of the homes my fosters have gone to, well, I've thought of seeing if they wanted to adopt me.
