Oh how exciting!!! I got a lot of different toys, and every dog is different in what they love- so here goes the ones that seem to be the most loved here in my home. 1) the chilly bone, great for teething puppies, it is a canvas bone that you soak in water, then freeze and give to them to chew on.
2) the kong, i started with the puppy kong which was a blue and white swirly colored one...it is a little softer for puppies. you can put treats inside or even a tiny bit of peanut butter and they work hard to get it out, keeps them busy for a while! 3) soft plush toys- dillon's favorites are: the miagrator toys- little ducks and geese that make a honking kind of sound, drives him nuts, zanies makes a giggler eggplant that is so darn cute, makes a giggling sound that made Dillon nuts! He HAD to have it and shake it, plush hedgehog, big winner in my house , the pia lamb- oh boy that was a winner but easily destroyed but that is half the fun. 4) balls-the number one winner in our house is the kong squeakers (look like tennis ball material) football - that is still his favorite! the runner up is the planet dog orbee ball, it smells like peppermint and Dillon liked the way it felt when he chewed it.
I could go on forever...but the best thing is trial and error, i bought a lot of toys that lasted less than an hour before it was ripped to shreds, I also bought tougher toys that were ignored...so you just never know...each pup is different...
