Over 100 metres, I'd pick a fit Pembroke Corgi to beat most humans.
I was a track sprinter and the Corgis I had during my competitive years were all faster than me over distances up to 200 metres. When I went grass track training - four to five times a week, my Corgis would come with me and two of them use to delight in beating me when I did repetition work between 50 metres and 150 metres.
