She is ten years old, will a corgi get along and be submissive to my Baby girl. I love her and would never choose another dog over her, so the puppy has to get along with my baby girl. I am so excited, I am already planning for a dog. I am looking to spend about one thousand to one and a half thousand dollars on a dog. Is that enough for food, toys, dog, trainning, and medical. For the first time I get it? I want to get insurance for my new dog. It is something I didn't do with my Cocker and now it is to late. It costs a ton of money to have her on a plan. Does this mean I am a bad owner? I love to shop for her and go to pet smart just to think of things to buy for her. Wow, I didn't know I had this many questions.
Show dogs are a whole other story to which I am not familiar with, but I think breeders like to "Co-own the dog with you" under contract;(but I am not sure) and I don't know what the cost would be, but I think it will be way more than $1000 for a show quality dog alone,(depending once again, where you are and who the breeder is) and all the other costs you mentioned would be on top of that - this is just my speculation and hopefully others will chime in on this.

Has your Cocker been socialized with other dogs before and if so, how did she do? -
