Dewey, my last Corgi was a Rescue dog and she was wonderful!. I got her when she was around 2 and had her for 11 1/2 years until she passed away last December. She was a great Corgi - so that is definitely another avenue for you. You can go on line to find the Corgi Rescue group for your area/region - or Go on
www.petfinder.com and click on breed and then get to Corgis - there are many out there.
