I agree with that as well, nippy and "mean" corgis often were not socialized or trained properly. The more time you can spend in the begining socializing and training the pup, the happier you both will be. Corgi's are bred for herding and therefore have a mind of their own, they can be stubborn and willful, but a well trained and well socialized corgi is an absolute joy- I adore mine, he is a very happy boy who loves everyone he meets...greeting most people with jumps and kisses (we are STILL working on the jumping up thing, unfortunately many people encourage this behavior unknowingly and it is hard when he gets the reinforcement he is looking for every time he jumps up).
The puppy is so darn cute! I dont blame you for being so very excited, a few more weeks to go before you will have your little pup...but the waiting is hard, I remember how i felt when i was waiting for months for my puppy...oh the waiting was the worst...
