I am curious as to why you couldn't locate a corgi yourself and talk with the breeder. If you have internet, you can find a corgi much closer to home? I would not want to hand out money for a pup when I hadn't even talked to the breeder or gotten references or found out any kind of background on her breeding facilities, testing, etc. A good breeder is more than willing to send you pictures of her dogs, facilities, etc. I had my pictures the same evening I called my breeder.
