I am also teaching Chip the wait command and I only use it when he is in the car and I have to leave, when I open the gate and times when I need to go first. My husband told me yesterday that Chip wants out of the car after I leave him so he has to watch him carefully. Not sure what to do about that. Also, he doesn't want to go on leash with someone else. He will plant those little corgi feet and keep turning back to see if Mom is coming. Do I see a GCC in his future. LOL We will see. Yesterday at the flea market, Chip met a pit bull puppy only about a foot tall and friendly. Chip immediately did the same thing that Milo did with the rottie. I watched very closely and they started playing but then a large unfriendly character was there and Chip and I both steered clear of him. Must be natural instinct on Chip's part. To bad Milo couldn't come to TN and play with Chip.

I need to clarify - Chip did the crouch down passive thing.
