My wife and I a couple of years ago decided to let Ruby come up on the bed with us. We even put a stool for her to jump on to help her get on the bed. Well about 3 days later we noticed a pool of urine next to the bed and passed it off as an accident, next day same thing. We made the connection and said that is it from her being on the bed as Ruby must have interpreted this as a "promotion in rank" Last year while visiting some friends with Ruby, we put her on the foot ottomon. When she got off, she immediately squatted and made a poop, and she never has accidents in a house. We have now learned our lession- no high spots for Ruby.
