That was a lovely thing for your friend to do and just the fact that your friend went out of her way to do this for him.
So often people don't know what to do for the person that has lost their pet.
Every spring break I watch a neighbors cat while they vacation and she likes to give me money - which I don't want - so last year, she donated 1/2 of what she would have gave me to the humane society in my name(a much better idea)
