Those are beautiful Corgis Dewey and she has been breeding a long time and has their best interest at heart. She is going to want to make sure that her pup will have the best chance of having a forever home with you. Just be yourself and be honest. Write down the questions you want to ask.
If by some chance this would not work out, Bonnie had good advice in checking out
www.petfinder.com and looking at the Corgis there. Not all rescue dogs come with baggage - some are given up due to divorce, deaths in families or elderly people going into nursing homes; there can be lots of scenarios where the dog is not at fault for its situation. There are quite a few nice sounding Corgis on there and you could end up with one that is already potty trained.
Good luck to you and let us know about the outcome with the Dalerno pup - they are beautiful and by the way, I want that "Corgi only Barking sign"
