I have spent the last five - six weeks being "secondary" care giver to a litter and their dam. I know how thin they can get and raggedy they can look even with the most optimum of care and premium quality food - as much as they need. (This isn't my first go round at this either.) This poor little girl does not fall into that category.

I am not mad at Aaron. He genuinely tried to help me and he's not trying to trick me or take my money. He's only defending his friend which I can understand. I just wish he would step back and see the dogs for what they really are.

Which should tell you by now that he doesn't know much about dogs. He would no longer be a trusted source of information in regards to dog matters IF I were in your shoes.

Last night he told me that 'Dewey' was the runt of the litter. He told me he was going to be small but it didn't cross my mind that he might be the runt.

Another little tid bit of what should have been pertinent information he failed to disclose. As I have said in other discussions, I don't like the term "runt" and just because he is the smallest one now, doesn't mean that he may not catch his litter mates later on.
