[Chip's Mom]

We took Chip for a walk last night to a different walking trail that we haven't used before and it is very woody and the river runs beside it. The wind was blowing and the leaves were rustling and Chip was a little afraid. All of those strange noises. So I just talked to him and reassured him and within 50 ft or so he was fine and enjoyed his walk. When we first started out and Chip heard all of those noises, he growled and then barked - my husband said he was protecting me. Are corgis protective? Anyway, he settled down and had an excellent time. He got to meet 2 little pugs. We will go there more often as I don't want my Chipster to be afraid.
