Dillon has this issue too sometimes if the ground ( even in grass) is hard and the pee doesnt absorb in quickly. Every once in a while the stream will get his back foot- he also seems very grumpy about this. I use a nice wet papertowel to clean it off and then dry it off and he is much happier. I know he prefers trees, light posts, fire hydrants, anything that he can pee against and that doesnt puddle near that back standing leg...But at 7 months he will start lifing the leg soon and the problem should happen less.
