Tex is now a growing girl at 7 weeks old. . .We decided to take advantage of the socializing and do a good deed at the same time. My mother works at a nursing home here in town, so we decided to pay a little visit. . . what a darling hour!!!

Tex, despite her rough and rowdyness at home, sensed how she needed to behave. She was very gentle and loving to the residents of the nursing home, and was playful with the nurses. The best part of it was the smiles and the lit up eyes from the Residents when she'd come through the door.

We decided to do that a little more often since both Tex and the residents thrived on it.

This was Tex's second day in a row on big adventures. . .she ate at around 7ish, played and played and played with her. . .took her out to potty and put her in her crate for the night. . .(around 9:30. .) I woke up in a panic at 6 this morning. I had not heard her whimper or fuss (which she usually does when she wants to go potty.) I got up to make sure she was okay. . and she was fine! Opened up the crate and took her outside. . checked the crate. . .NO MESS!!! MY GOOD GIRL SLEPT ALL NIGHT WITHOUT A WHIMPER OR ACCIDENT!!!!!

We're having so much fun! More adventures tonight when we go visit some friends. :-)
