dillydoodle: just one word for you, "AMEN!"

Chip'sMom: Please feel free to write me about any questions concerning Las Vegas. I make my living writing about that city so I do know the in's and out's(of which there are many!) and it's about a 10 hour drive for us, we stop several lenghthy times(drives my husband nuts when he is with us) but we have discovered some wonderful places, such as The Apple Shed in Tehachappi, we always bring home a freshly baked apple pie, and the Starbucks in the middle of Death Valley!!! I have to admit that I was not thinking very well when Miss Gambler made her first hot weather drive. I let her out of the car in Death Valley and we were stretching our legs and I could tell that she didn't want to, unlke her, then I noticed the hotfooting it. It was 118 degrees in the shade! I have not made that mistake again. Also, Seafood is nice, but very overpriced, on the wharf. Seafood is a lot better on the east coast.
