I have never owned a Corgi that wanted to kill a cat but they sure wanted to chase them - apart from my current fellow. But it seems obvious that some Corgis might treat a ferret the same way they might treat a rat/mouse - one tug of their neck and they're history - but it is up to the owner to make the right overtures from the very first introduction between a ferret and a Corgi. Taylor was "instructed' from almost day one in regard to the pet rabbit we had. Our rabbit was no slouch - he could hold his own. Anyway, Taylor and the rabbit played with one another (they had many great games) and drank water from the stream together for as long as the rabbit lived.
