You've hit it on the button - gentle treatment for Corgis. Any scolding should be on a slightly raised vocal level and right at the time of an "incident" and should always be followed by something positive which can be praised. Lavish praise is good, brow beating is not.

If only I could execute the same kind of patient and understanding treatment to my (human) children. Oh well, some people are better suited with a canine family, I guess.

Getting back to the tv movie, Little Lost Dog. If enough pressure was placed on the Disney organisation they will put the movie on video or DVD. Since 1963 when the movie was released, two things happened: One...... the Disney movie helped enormously to popularise the Welsh Corgi (Pembroke variety, in particular) to an extent only bettered by the British Queen; and two, the difference in the numbers of Pem owners in 1963 and 40-odd years later - especially in the USA - is huge.
So there exists today what could be a very strong lobby grouping with regard to Corgi owners and admirers. So all you people reading this discussion message need do is send a message in turn to the Disney organisation asking for video/DVD release of Little Lost Dog. It will also act as a marketing tool for the future of Corgis. Perhaps the administrator of GoCorgi will lend his/her weight to lobbying Disney.
