Some times I make treats for Milo. Here is a recipe for Corgi Crumpets (from the Three Dog Bakery cookbook)
2 1/2 c cornmeal, 1 1/2 c white flour, 2 tblsp. vegie oil, 1 egg, 1/4 c honey,
1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 1/2 c water. Mix all ingrediants together, spoon into muffin pans (3/4 full), bake for 35 min. @ 350 degrees. It should make 24Corgi Crumpets. Sometimes I put a bit of peanut butter in the batter. Milo thinks they are wonderful!!

We have a Three Dogs Bakery here in town; along with another bakery, of which I cannot remember the name. The Crumpets sound good. I am assuming you can freeze the crumpets for later since the recipe makes such a large amount - or just cut the recipe in half.
