A large pet shop should sell special wipes for dogs eyes. They are like baby wipes but they contain special ingredients to benefit eyes and help to clear the weepiness.
Your vet is wrong to simply palm away a dog with weepy eyes. There is got to be a cause and there is got to be a remedy.
