I agree with Miss Gambler's Mommy - I don't take using Frontline Plus monthly lightly either. Remember I lost my beloved Digger to lymphoma - however, you have to weigh the pros and cons. Now I am not saying that Digger got his lymphoma from Frontline Plus but it does make a person paranoid. Michael you may not have the fleas and ticks in your country that are here in the US. If Chip has a flea on him, he is miserable and will itch until he has a raw spot. Also, a dog can get worms from fleas. Frontline plus did not kill the fleas on Chip for more than one month. I had to use it monthly to get rid of them. Like Miss Gambler, Chip is out and about where he can pick up fleas regularly. My take is each person has to make the educated decision on what is right for their dog. There are too many variables for a generic decision. Not only that - who wants to live with fleas especially if there dog sleeps in their bed.
