Tucker: "There ain't no bugs on me" - has always used K9 Advantix (toxic to cats) and I've never seen a flea or tick anywhere near him.
Lulu: "I'm a tick magnet"- started out on 2 months of Frontline (Vet sent me home w/ wrong Med, I asked for K9Advantix (too lazy to go back so I used the 2 month supply) - I found several attached ticks on her. I switched her to k9 Advantix on the 20th of October and after a few days no more attached ticks. After 2 tick bites she was tested for lyme disease and test was negative.
I too hate the thought of toxic chemicals going into my dogs' systems but the alternatives (mange/mites/fleas/ticks and lyme disease) are very serious. I could also think of better thngs to do w/ $.
