Hi and welcome!

I did not know anything about corgis when I was searching for one. I will be honest - it will take a lot of work, but it will also be very rewarding. All the fruits of your labor - researching, taking care of the dog, and more - will be rewarded.

Do be wary of fishy breeders. DO NOT get one from a pet store. Acquire one through a reputable breeder. See the dog's parents and do as much as you can to know the history and temperament.

Corgis are bright, curious, sweet, and very loyal. Like all dogs - they love to chew, play, and eat. When you get one, you'll know. Search around the site - have a lot of informational threads. And then come back here for more specific questions. Utilize this site. Members are very helpful and honest.
