Well we sort of conquered the throw rug problem. I took up the ones that were in her usual path from the living room to my office and replaced her old piece of carpet and all seems to be back in harmony. The throw rugs are still down but she does not have to step on them to get where she wants to go. We are now trying to get her used to the outdoor decorations as they move and some are big. We have an 8 foot carousel and an 8 foot igloo that santa and a snowman come in and out of. She does fine with them during the day but at night she barks at them, and it is a menacing bark too. Really quite funny. But all is back happy in the house with her piece of carpet back.
