Hi everyone, im getting a corgi for Christmas probably and I need some info about them. Please pm me if you can help me!
Christmas and/or holiday seasons are one of the worst times to bring a puppy into a home for the majority of families. Too many activities going on, too many people in and out, trips and visits - just too, too much of everything. Puppies, or even adult dogs (as in bringing in a rescue) need a stable, structure or order in the home. They need regular routines in order to help them make optimum adjustments and settle into their new home. Breeders (reputable, responsible ones that is) more often than not will NOT send a puppy to its new home "for Christmas." Same with rescue groups and even shelters will stop adoptions during this time period.
Secondly, what kind of "info" do you need about puppies? They chew, bite, sleep, eat, pee, poo, and play. There are plenty of threads on the forum about puppies, I'd recommend reading through those. IF you have more specific questions in mind, then feel free to ask.
