I bathe Dillon 1x a month, three days post frontline treatment. I was using biogroom bronzing shampoo and it made his coat look spectacular, however after that bought of allergies, i stopped using everything with scent in it and bought him a veterinary hypoallergenic shampoo ( that i hate! makes his coat not as pretty). Now that things are cleared up with the allergies ( medication and such) I am going to go back to trying the bronzer shampoo and see how he reacts...he is due for his bath already.. I also brush and comb him once every other day for a few minutes. I clean his feet after a walk if he gets them dirty, and his butt is checked every time he goes to make sure he is clean. I clean his ears once a week using veterinary grade ear cleaner and clip his nails and then buff them with an emory board once a week, I clip the hair between his toes once every two weeks and i brush his teeth once a week , use the tooth cleansing pads every other day and once a month i check to see if there is any scaling needed on his back teeth...when there is i have a dental tool and i just gently scrape any begining signs of tartar. His teeth are always pearly white, though sadly he still has occasional morning breath! LOL!
