Koda is kind of hard to figure out, when going to places like petsmart he could careless about the hampsters or ferretts and generally gives them a quick sniff and ignores them. Buy having said that he has done a good job of ridding my backyard of now three moles, but I think he does that because he gets to dig without us yelling at him.
If something is bigger than him he becomes very interested and very excited (probably the old herding cows instinct). He does not really like dogs that are smaller than him or the same size but loves big dogs like labs and shepards. In the office building I work in there is a old english sheep dog that he simply adores and will do anything to play with.
I am completely conviced that he thinks that he is that big and is to good or strong to play with the smaller dogs.
