Glencorgi: Miss Gambler does not have the shape that you describe, bigger in chest, smaller in back, she is tubular, perfectly tubular even. As for feeling her ribs, that's not too easy either, there's a lot of her between the skin and ribs. I don't have any other corgis to compare her with, so I guess she is overweight, but she was just at the vet for a physical(twice a year) and he didn't say a word, which shocked my husband. But our vet is also not familiar with Corgis. It's not like I ignore it, I actually measure her food, and in the past year have cut back on snacks and people food(she still gets it, but a lot less). I don't mind being corrected at all, especially by you, and your description on how she looks really helps, but I just know that she doesn't fit that description. Note: last night Miss Gambler and I spent 45 mins side by side on the hotel's treadmill, and this is on top of her walks, etc.... so I don't ignore her. Are there any doggie exercises that would help give her this defined look?
