Welcome Sage. My first piece of advice would to be go through the list archives and read all about the joys, trials, tribulations, issues and delights those on this forum have posted about life with corgis.
Secondly, to answer you question "Why?" as to your location, knowing where you are helps us in being able to advise and direct you to resources (breeders, training centers, rescues for example) in your search for a corgi.
