[Jane Austen]

Looking back at the previous owners papers on Duchess I found that she has had this condition before. (The papers are hard to read since they are copies) They seemed to have taken the same hit or miss route in her treatment. Duchess is almost eight years old, I have had her for eight months and she never had a sick day since I got her till now.
The vet gave me science hill ID canned food but the dog will not eat it even when she is hungry. Am just about to give her her first food in three days(rice and cottage cheese) and hope she can keep it down. I am giving her ice in her water dish so she won't gulp the water.
I also found that she had bitten every one in the family except her mistress.
What a different dog she is with us. She is great with strangers too.
