A friend on Dogster lost their beloved Corgi this fall when he got his head in a partially opened empty bag of nachos. He suffocated. Open bags all the way across the opening before throwing them out - you never know what animal will get into the garbage.

Also, for those of us in cold climates - the annual car antifreeze warning - watch what your dog(s) may be licking on the ground. Antifreeze is deadly, but it smells and tastes sweet to pets and is very appealing to them.
