You must be worried sick. Poor Duchess. Your love for her has rebounded to the extent of her treating other people surrounding you with affection and respect. Your last post poses questions. If Duchess had this condition before - how long ago and what treatment was administered to get her into a state of health that has lasted until now. If you had realised this at the onset, you could have given her a special diet and some form of medication commensurate with her past problems.
