Jane,
There were two medications that my vet would prescribe for my Betsy whewe were dealing with her stomah issues - vomiting, rumbling stomach and sometimes loss of appetite. They were:
Metoclopramide or
Metronidazole( This is the antibiotic, but also helps the stomach)
These worked by settling down the gut and helping with the motility of the gut and getting everything to flow right and took care of nausea. She had used both of these, for about a 10 day period This always seemed to do the trick for her, temporarily, but eventually she would have pancreatitis down the road again - like every 3 months - this was during the last 2 years of her life which I also mentioned she would take 5 mg of pepcid
AC twice a day to help with her stomah upsets.
Anyway, not sure what your Duchess has, but you may want to bring these medications up and see what your vet thinks. Good Luck
Linda
