oh Bonnie, that is really terrible. I do understand your fears, but i will have to agree with jessica on this one that you will be chosing the right puppy and raising this puppy with chip from day one and they will get along just fine. I think that dogs are dogs and there are disagreements for sure but most are worked out quickly without any real issues. Daschunds are scrappy little dogs, many people don't realize these cute little dogs were bred to hunt badgers which are very strong, tough animals so these dogs had to be just as tough. I really feel for this person though, it has to be a real shock to have a dog fight escalate to this degree. My thoughts and condolences to your friend.
