Zia grunts, too. She has a low growl, a low bark, and a high shrill bark. She also burps very loudly! If Zip has a toy that she wants, she will lay down, nose to nose with him, and bark and bark and bark! She will also bark at you if you are not paying attention to her. I've noticed that at night (in bed) she will aggravate Zip until he finally jumps off the bed. After he jumps off, she climbs on my pillow and goes sound to sleep. Sounds like a spoiled brat to me!
