Susan, There are so many sources for interesting names!! Since I was the one who "pushed" for both our dogs, when my husband came up with the names each time I said "GREAT IDEA, Honey!!"
Our first dog, a Corgi mix, was named "Wimsey" for one of my husband's favorite novelists, Dorothy Sayer's character Lord Peter Wimsey... We are HUGE fans of the TV show "24" so I suppose Chloe's name actually came from the character there (I was planning to use the name 'Zelda', as in F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife...but...)
Anyway - there are two potential name sources: literature and TV...in addition to Michael clever suggestion!!
