We found out from Liam's former vet that today is his first birthday. We were fortunate that he was an "owner-surrender" to rescue so we know a little more about him than most rescue dogs.

He has been a wonderful addition to our family. Each of the children think he loves that one best. The cats still don't like him. He tries to "herd" them, and you know the old saying about herding cats.

He got spoiled on his first Christmas with toys and goodies. And the only holiday "event" was that he got sap on his head from the Christmas tree so I had to snip out a little piece of his white blaze and he has a fur divot in his forehead. He was spoiled last night with snippets of prime rib fat, and today he'll probably get some canned food. You know how it is is when you're birthday is so close to Christmas. People try to pass you off with one gift for both!
