I just love this thread. My husband and I just got back from London yesterday. We hoped to see a ROYAL corgi at Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle but no such luck!!!! Although, there were so many pictures of the Queen and her corgis. (what a wonderful lady) We spoke with our taxi driver on the way to the airport about the queen and her corgis and he said that corgis are not a popular breed in London but they are more popular in Ireland and Wales because it is more rural. Oh well at least the Queen gets it!!!!!

When we arrived in London and turned on the TV there was a story on the British News Network-SKY news about the royals year in review. They showed this story about the Queen and her corgis. I about died. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Well not really but you understand the excitement. It was the Queen and she was walking around with her corgis.

The Queen movie did have corgis walking about in one of the trailers. I cannot wait to rent it. Wonder when it comes out on DVD?
