IF you have been using your groomer for a good while and have a good client relationship with him/her, ask for their recommendation as to when to bring him in. Really, at his age you should be able to bathe him fairly easily yourself. Nails, as long as he doesn't have any black ones
, you should also be able to do yourself and even if you don't do them, get him used to at least having his feet handled and messed with. That just makes it so much easier on vets and groomers. You might want to consider getting a dremel and using it to do the nails.
