Sooty came to live with me when he was 9 months old- he had failed as a show dog and was a very shy, scared little dog. Now he is full of confidence but still a quiet sweet-natured dog. My father who is 92 and has had many dogs in his life says Sooty is the best dog he has ever known.

Cindy Birdsong is a Champion bitch, who lived for the first 5 years of her life with her wonderful breeders. She had two litters who have all gone on to do well. My friend has her grand-daughter. One of her last litter is in the USA- called Aled who I know has been showing well in the US. Perhaps someone knows him? My friend told her breeder friends that I was looking to adopt an older dog and they graciously allowed me to have Cindy. She has now been spayed, put on weight and so is now on a strict diet ( like me too after Christmas!!) As you can imagine Cindy is the boss in the house and Sooty loves her to bits.
