HOWEVER, he keeps peeing on the carpet! I take him out regularly, look for his signals, etc. I thought this was normal but he is almost 5 months old and should definitely be better by now. I got him when he was 10 1/2 weeks old. I know part of the problem is he's had to go on paper while I'm at work.

Hi,
It took Lola a while to get housebroken. I think a large part of the problem was that she could smell where she went to previously and that was just too tempting. Those smells are really hard to get out too because no matter what cleaners we tried it didn't seem to work. We were going to try professional carpet cleaners next, but then we moved to the new house and she stopped just like that.
