Yes, a reputable breeder can do both. I do.

However this is NOT a reputable breeder. There are no champions, no show pictures. They're not show quality dogs. They are her own dogs, dogs she bred, and IMO that is NOT a rescue dog. The ones she is selling are hers of her breeding.

And I understand she's asking $1,200 for at least one of them?

I've heard stories like this before. Breeder going out of business. They sell off their current stock and then buy younger dogs and start breeding again, or go into a new breed.

Sorry too many red flags to make me suspicous of her. If she puts the dogs in the shelter then legitimate rescue groups can step in. Util then, IMO, she's on her own, and I do not recommend anyone bail her out.
