For anyone that has not read "Marley & Me" I highly recommend it. I finally convinced my sister (who actually owns a mostly lab mix, along with her long-haired Chihuahua) to pick it up and read it and my mom called me because my sister was laughing so much it was driving mom nuts. Then a few days later mom got to read the book and called me at 7 in the morning because she hadn't been able to put the book down and go to sleep! There are a LOT of things they did SO wrong as first time dog owners... but there is a lot they did right also.... and the way he writes is absolutely hillarious. Make sure you are somewhere that you won't get embarrased by laughing histerically out-loud when you read it. Yes... it will make you cry at the end, but it is a terrific tale of a dogs life.

Sounds like I need to go pick up "Puppy Kisses" next. Thanks for the recommended reading list!
