That story has just choked me up! I'm so sorry for the loss of Mouse. I had to put my 17-year old cat to sleep last summer and it killed me. I knew I'd be putting her down, so the night before I held her tight, cried, scratched her, and told her over and over how much I loved her. I've got to stop...the tears are really flowing now.
