Hi James and Welcome aboard.

I totally agree with Jane about touching their feet a lot when they are pups. Especially to help with grooming down the road when they are older. I found a good massage is always helpful. My two liked that a lot, but now Dylan likes it only on his terms and for only so long. Newt would love to be petted and cooed over for as long as you want to pet and coo.

And don't forget about their mouth, maybe get them used to the toothbrush. And touching their ears incase you have to clean them out for one reason or another.
