Debbie, though your rant is meandering on the topic a little bit, I have to say, as an owner of both a purebred AKC registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a pound mutt (CWC/Bassett Hound we think) I agree with every word, especially the quoted part. And it's worth noting that a pound mutt can be a fantastically wonderful companion. My little Newman is an absolute treasure. Not to take anything against the bunnybutted Tucker

People don't get corgis because only of the bunnybutt. The tiny legs, foxy face, and personality are big draws. CWCs and PWCs are both just as wonderful!!!
