Love the idea! Funny about the doodle. I agree. I thought that it would be nice to find something on the market that gives good undercarriage coverage but everything is designed to protect the top of the dog's body. Then if you make something homemade, you have to account for the doodle. Hmmmm. I just never went beyond that. It made my brain hurt.

So, I just use baby wipes, keep a towel by the door...and in really muddy cases, he gets carried to the sink for a rinsing. He hates it but I can't stand a funky dog. I would rather take the time to rinse him off than try to get the funk out of the furniture and carpet!
