My two kitties instantly liked Gus they both find him to be a breath of fresh air ( Dillon chases them, no matter how hard i have tried to break this, Gus just walks up and sniffs them and then leaves them alone and never ever chases them!)
Glad you were able to open your heart and home to this cute little kitty...

Emilie,
You know I am such a knucklehead sometimes, I had Mieko for about a week before it occurred to me to clip those little claws. They are like tiny fish hooks. Finally I had an epiphany (after the 2nd application of Neosporin to Milo's nose) to clip the claws! Mieko was surprisingly compliant and let me do it. I did teach Milo to not chase kitties or bark at them and he is a good boy about that.
He lets Mieko go into his toy box and take toys, except for a favorite that Mieko was attempting to carry off one day. Milo walked up and gently removed it from Mieko and walked away, put down the toy and layed on top of it!! The message was clear in that action!
They are so much fun to watch as the interact with each other. I love to have dogs and cats together!
Thanks for the well wishes!
