All my Corgis at one time or other have suddenly had an insect or bug crawl or fly into one of their ears and what do you think happened - their ear drooped in discomfort and they would shake their ear in an effort to prize out the intruder and perhaps as a signal to me to help out. But never a real floppy ear occurred.
